The Community Shield, the traditional curtain-raiser to the English season, is moving to Villa Park after being forced away from Wembley Stadium due to the Olympics.
Premier League champion Manchester City will play FA Cup winner Chelsea on Sunday Aug. 12 at Aston Villa's 43,000-seat ground, hours before the closing ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics.
The final of the Olympic football tournament will be played at Wembley the previous day.
