Oswaldo Vizcarrondo headed home a corner kick in the 72nd minute to give Venezuela a 1-1 tie with Mexico on Tuesday night.

Aldo De Negris put Mexico up 1-0 in the 58th minute, and Mexico could have had another goal 10 minutes later, but Giovani Dos Santos hit the right post.

That left the door open for Vizcarrondo, who headed Yohandry Orozco's corner from the right side past goalie Guillermo Ochoa, tying the game for El Vinotinto.

On De Negris' goal, Luis Perez slid the ball along the goal line to Dos Santos, who angled the ball in the air to a driving De Negris, who got to the ball just before goalie Leonard Morales and headed it into the net.
