Vasco da Gama moved to the top of the Brazilian Campeonato standings after a 2-0 win on the road at Bahia.

Loureiro Felipe (23) and Diego Souza (90) scored the goals that moved Vasco into top spot, after erstwhile leaders Corinthians were held to a 1-1 draw at Internacional.

Corinthians needed an 89th-minute equaliser by Alex to rescue a point after Claudinei Nei's 67th-minute opener for Internacional, who lost Andres D'Alessandro to a late red card.

Cruzeiro rallied for a 3-2 win over Atletico Goianiense. Atletico twice went ahead though Thiago Feltri (16) and Felipe (67), with Cruzeiro's leveller coming from Ernesto Farias on 42 minutes.
