The smile was back on the face of Louis van Gaal after Bayern Munich booked their place in the knockout stages of the Champions League.
After a week in which the Dutchman has been on the receiving end of some fierce criticism from his own club's president Uli Hoeness, van Gaal witnessed his side make smooth progress against Cluj with a fourth straight victory to put the argument with his peer behind him.
"What argument? We have won 4-0 and even Uli is happy with that," he told Sky television after the game. "I am happy, Uli is happy so we will drink to this."
In an interview on Sat.1 television, van Gaal put the issue to bed for good, saying that he "had a problem with one of the remarks Uli Hoeness made, but that is now in the past".
He added: "When I shake Uli's hand, that means that we carry on working together."
Three goals from Mario Gomez ensured Bayern booked their ticket for the knockout phase in the most emphatic style ever with four wins from four games.
And the club's chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge was particularly pleased that his side can now forget about Europe until February.
"Now we can concentrate on the Bundesliga," he said. "We want to get up to the top and I am optimistic that we will manage that in the coming weeks."
Bayern travel to bottom-of-the-table Borussia Monchengladbach on Saturday looking to reduce the gap on leaders Borussia Dortmund from the current 10 points.
