American midfielder Ricardo Clark is set to join Eintracht Frankfurt of the Bundesliga until the end of the season.
Frankfurt coach Michael Skibbe said Wednesday that Clark is expected to sign a contract on Thursday but still needs ``a few weeks'' to get his match fitness back. The former Houston Dynamo midfielder hasn't played regularly since the Major League Soccer playoffs in November.
The 26-year-old Clark, who grew up in Atlanta and played for Furman, is a free agent after his contract with Houston expired.
Frankfurt (7-5-6) is seventh in the Bundesliga with 27 points, 11 behind league-leading Bayer Leverkusen (10-0-8).
