Japan's Urawa Reds have agreed to transfer Brazilian striker Edmilson to Qatari club Al Gharafa.
Urawa said on its website Friday that it had agreed to Al Gharafa's offer and said Edmilson will travel to Qatar this weekend to sign a contract.
The 28-year-old forward has scored 109 goals in 226 games in the J-League's first division since making his debut in 2004.
Edmilson started his career at Palmeiras in Brazil and joined J-League side Albirex Niigata in 2004 before moving to Urawa in 2008.
