Michael Rios scored twice to lead Universidad Catolica over Argentina's Independiente 2-1 and into the Copa Sudamericana semifinals Thursday.
The two teams drew 2-2 last week in Argentina, with Catolica advancing 4-3 on two-game aggregate scores.
Rios scored in the 16th minute and again in the 38th. Jonathan Santana equalized for Independiente in the 35th.
Independiente's Fernando Cordero was sent off in the 62nd.
