Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher has targeted a return to action for the start of next season following his lengthy spell out with a chronic bowel disease.
The Scotland international took an extended break from football in December because of the problem and is yet to return to training with the English champions.
The 27-year-old Fletcher tells the BBC that ''I'm listening to the medical people and trying to get myself right. The challenge and the focus is to be ready for next season.''
Fletcher has ulcerative colitis, a chronic inflammation of the digestive tract.

His last match for United was on Nov. 22, scoring a goal in the 2-2 home draw with Benfica in the Champions League.
