Estudiantes claimed their first win of the new Clausura season with a 2-0 success against Independiente.
Gaston Fernandez scored in the first half and substitute Guido Carrillo made the game safe 11 minutes from time as Estudiantes followed up two draws with three points
San Lorenzo won 1-0 at Argentinos Juniors, Carlos Benitez with the only goal five minutes after half-time.
Both they and Colon Santa Fe also recorded their first wins of the season at the third time of asking, the latter beating Olimpo 3-1.

Federico Higuain's opener was almost immediately cancelled out by Andres Franzoia and it remained 1-1 until the 74th minute when substitute Ivan Moreno yFabianesi restored Colon's lead. Esteban Fuertes added a third in the last minute.
