UEFA taking action against BATE over fans' racism

NYON, Switzerland -- UEFA has opened a racism case against Belarusian club BATE Borisov after Shakhtar Donetsk striker Luiz Adriano reported being racially abused in their Champions League match on Tuesday.
After scoring five goals in Shakhtar's 7-0 win, the Brazilian player said ''there were unpleasant shouts, racist ones.''
UEFA announced it has opened disciplinary proceedings against BATE over the ''racist behavior of supporters.''
The case is due to be dealt with by UEFA's disciplinary body on Nov. 13.
