UEFA fines Rangers after crowd trouble at Unirea

UEFA has fined Rangers €20,000 after its fans fought with Romanian police at last week's Champions League game at Unirea Urziceni and damaged the home team's stadium.

UEFA's disciplinary body found the Rangers' supporters guilty of improper conduct and also ordered the Scottish champion to pay for damaged seats.

Unirea was fined €8,000 for a lack of organization at the same game which ended 1-1.
