Emirati midfielder Amer Abdulrahman is reportedly set to join Blackburn Rovers on a season-long loan deal.
According to Baniyas deputy chairman Mubarak Awad, the 24-year-old will link up with the Championship side for the upcoming campaign with a view to returning to the UAE in a year's time.
"Blackburn were in touch, they sent a letter," Awad told Sport360.
"He is not for sale but we will send him out on loan. He will go next week and train with them and after that stay for the season.

"We are hoping he will come back at the end of the season with more experience to help in the future."
Abdulrahman is one of the Gulf nation's rising stars and was a standout player during his country's impressive showing at the 2012 London Olympics.
