Manchester City says Yaya Toure has recovered from a fever that led to the Ivory Coast midfielder being hospitalized ahead of the African Cup of Nations.

Toure is in Abu Dhabi preparing for the tournament with brother Kolo Toure, who also plays for City.

Kolo Toure says his brother is ''back on his feet'' after being struck down with flu-like symptoms for a couple of days.

The Ivory Coast opens its African Cup campaign against Togo on Jan. 22 in Rustenburg, South Africa.
