Toluca beats Puerto Rico Islanders 3-0

Osvaldo Gonzalez, Juan Cuevas and Emmanuel Cerda scored to help Mexico club Toluca beat the Puerto Rico Islanders 3-0 on Wednesday in a CONCACAF Champions League game.
Gonzalez scored in the 18th, netting a volley from a corner. Cuevas converted a penalty in the 76th after an Islanders player was called for handling the ball in the area, and Cerda scored in injury time.
Toluca leads Group D with seven points in three matches. Puerto
Rico has four points in three matches. Mexican teams have won five
straight CONCACAF titles and seven of the last nine.
