Tigre saw off San Martin San Juan 3-1 to make it four points from their opening two games of the Argentine Clausura season.

Diego Castano set them on their way in the second minute and second-half goals from Carlos Luna and substitute Matias Escobar made the game safe.

However, Castano's participation came to a premature end when he was needlessly sent off in the 81st minute.

The visitors took the opportunity to pull a goal back, Gaston Caprari netting a
last-minute penalty, but could do nothing to stave off defeat.
