Thomson likely to shake off injury

Midfielder Thomson is the only fresh injury doubt for Walter Smith's side, who remain without goalkeeper Allan McGregor (hamstring) for the rearranged match at Tannadice. Midfielder Maurice Edu could make his first appearance of the season after recovering from an ankle knock sustained recuperating from knee surgery.
