Switzerland drops Frei to play Honduras

Switzerland coach Ottmar Hitzfeld has dropped captain Alexander Frei for the team's decisive Group H match against Honduras at the World Cup.
Eren Derdiyok replaces Frei in the Swiss attack while Tranquillo Barnetta will start in the midfield instead of Valon Behrami, who is suspended after picking up a red card against Chile.
Switzerland can lock up a spot in the round of 16 with a two-goal win over Honduras, regardless of the result in Friday's other Group H match between Spain and Chile.
Hitzfeld has downplayed concerns his team could struggle to score twice against Honduras, despite Switzerland's recent troubles up front. The Swiss have scored just three goals in their last seven matches.
Honduras coach Reinaldo Rueda made sweeping changes to his lineup, selecting six new players from the 2-0 loss to Spain.
Jerry Palacios joins David Suazo in a Honduran attack that has failed to score a goal so far in South Africa. Midfielder Edgar Alvarez and defenders Victor Bernardez and Mauricio Sabillon also start against Switzerland, despite not having played so far in South Africa.
The Central Americans, who have yet to score a goal at the World Cup, still have a slim chance of advancing with a big win over the Swiss and a favorable result in the Spain-Chile match.
