Swansea draws 2-2 with Sunderland in EPL
Michu made sure Swansea stayed unbeaten in the Premier League by equalizing in the 66th minute to salvage a 2-2 draw against Sunderland on Saturday.
Steven Fletcher scored twice to give the visitors a 2-1 lead at halftime, but Michu netted his fourth goal in three games for Swansea with a strong header. Swansea was then reduced to 10 men when Chico was sent off for a rough challenge on Louis Saha, but hung on to continue its unbeaten league start under new manager Michael Laudrup.
Fletcher opened the scoring in the 40th minute after capitalizing on a poor back pass. Wayne Routledge equalized minutes later, only for Fletcher to score again just before halftime from Sebastian Larsson's free kick.
Swansea has seven points from three games, while Sunderland has two points in two matches.
