Promotion to the Premier League could net the Swans around £90million, offering a timely boost to their bank balance. It is expected that a percentage of that funding will be put towards improving the club's training facilities, with a switch to a new base at Landore widely touted. Jenkins, though, accepts that issues on the field must be addressed first, with it imperative that new recruits are drafted in. With that in mind, he has promised manager Brendan Rodgers that he will be given a sizeable transfer kitty this summer. "First and foremost we want to compete in the Premier League and that's what we aim to do," Jenkins told the South Wales Evening Post. "We'll strengthen the team in key areas to be ready for the challenge. "The first aim is to make sure we stay in the best league in the world. "We have worked hard over the last eight to ten years to get this opportunity and we must make sure we do everything we can to keep building this club." Jenkins has also revealed that the club plan to increase the capacity of their Liberty Stadium home, with 16,000 season tickets having been snapped up for the 2011/12 campaign. He said: "We're looking at various options to increase capacity and we'll do something when we can. "When we're ready we'll discuss it. "It would be very difficult to do during the playing season - the first opportunity would be next May."
