The Premier League newcomers are looking to strengthen their squad ahead of the start of the new season and have identified Lita as a transfer target. Boro manager Tony Mowbray warned earlier in the week that the Welsh club would have to stump up the cash if they want the forward. And it is understood that the two clubs are now close to agreeing a fee, with Boro prepared to let him go for the right price ahead of the expiry of his contract next summer. The 26-year-old is now preparing to travel to Swansea to discuss personal terms and undergo a medical. Lita has been with Boro for the past two seasons, having spent time with Bristol City, Reading, Charlton and Norwich earlier in his career.
