Ajax captain Luis Suarez claim's Martin Jol's recent departure as coach "hurts in my heart".
Jol left the Amsterdam ArenA with Ajax struggling in the Eredivisie title race, sitting fourth but only five points off leaders PSV Eindhoven.
The former Tottenham boss, who only took charge of Ajax in May last year, claimed the expectations at the club were too high.
And the team's talisman Suarez told Die Telegraaf: "Jol leaving hurts in my heart.

"I had a good relationship with him and had confidence in him. Even when I played badly, he had faith in me. That was important to me."
