Stoke made Lukaku loan offer

Pulis has made no secret of his desire to strengthen the Potters squad ahead of Wednesday's 11pm transfer deadline and is looking for two strikers with Jonathan Walters and Kenwyne Jones currently his only fit options. It is understood that Tottenham have accepted an offer from Stoke for Peter Crouch, but it remains to be seen whether the England frontman will follow Wilson Palacios to the Britannia Stadium. That has left Pulis looking at alternative options and it is claimed that Chelsea are willing to allow Lukaku out on loan until January in a bid to acclimatise him to the pace of the Premier League. Stoke have also re-opened talks with Birmingham forward Cameron Jerome over a possible move to the club, while the Danish media claims Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner is on his way to the Potteries. Pulis is also looking for another winger ahead of Wednesday's transfer deadline and remains in the hunt for Manchester City's Shaun Wright-Phillips. The Welshman is also a fan of Craig Bellamy, while an offer is understood to have been made for Crystal Palace youngster Wilfried Zaha, who can play out wide or up front.
