Steve Mandanda's gaffe all but ends Marseille's Ligue 1 title hopes

Olympique Marseille captain Steve Mandanda will have a long weekend.

On what should have been an easy defensive clearance, Mandanda made a complete meal out of Rod Fanni's back pass. The only thing Nantes' Serge Gapke had to do was tap the ball in the net.

To make matters worse, the loss puts Marseille in fourth place, seven points behind league leader Lyon, and further complicates their chances to qualify for the UEFA Champions League next season.
