St. Pauli fans who want to ensure their children will share their devotion can send them to a new nursery school at its stadium - featuring full-day care and a playground overlooking the pitch.
The Hamburg-based Bundesliga club said its decision to build the ''Pirate's Nest'' nursery was part of plans to renovate its Millerntor stadium, in the heart of one of the city's most populous neighborhoods.
The preschool is to open this month and provide full-day care for 100 children, from infants to age six, during the week.
It will also be open on match days - allowing fans to drop off their children during the game.
