Spanish club's new kits are equal parts terrifying and amazing

Either it's the trans-Atlantic equivalent of April Fools' Day in Spain and we've all been had, or C.D. Palencia have unveiled some of the most ridiculous kits we've ever seen.
That's right. Move over, ham kits, it's about to get even weirder. C.D. Palencia, a team that plays in the fourth division of the Spanish system dropped these bad boys on Thursday.
We have so many questions. First and foremost: WHAT. IS. THAT? OK, obviously it's the muscular system of the human body ... but why? How can these players be comfortable wearing these things? Why did they decide on purple for the keeper?
Actually, there's not really a suitable alternate color when your kit looks like you've been flayed, but that's kind of the point. These aren't really suitable as kits, at all! These guys look more like half-dressed extras for a scene from "Game of Thrones" than they do actual soccer players.
C.D. Palencia's motto on their Twitter reads "¡Nos Dejamos La Piel Y Damos El Corazón!" which a rough Google translation leads us to believe means "We tear off our skin and give our hearts." (If that's way off, please let us know!) We assume that speaks to their drive and tenacity to succeed, a la "giving it their all."
If that's the case, we can only imagine where they'll take things from here.
