Southampton conceded an early goal before grabbing a late equalizer to draw 1-1 against Sunderland in the Premier League on Saturday.
Center back Jose Fonte denied Sunderland a first win of the season with a last-gasp header that earned the Saints a hard-earned point.
Emanuele Giaccherini put Paolo Di Canio's team ahead in the third minute at St Mary's after he was left unmarked to head in a corner from Sebastian Larsson.
Southampton dominated the second half and Fonte got the equalizer in the 88th with a powerful header from a free kick from James Ward-Prowse.
