Philippe Senderos would love to remain in the Premier League next season - and he hopes to use the World Cup as the platform to earn a move.
The Swiss centre-half is out of contract at Arsenal this summer and is unlikely to win a permanent move to either AC Milan or Everton after disappointing loan spells at both clubs last season.
However, Senderos knows a positive showing for Switzerland in South Africa this summer will make him hot property.
"I'm at an ideal age, I'm going to play at the World Cup and I am a free transfer - what could be better?" he said.
