Kenny Miller scored twice as Rangers thrashed Motherwell 4-1 Sunday to maintain its two-point lead over fierce Glasgow rival Celtic at the top of the Scottish Premier League.
The Scotland striker reached a league-high 21 goals for the campaign by scoring Rangers' first and last at Fir Park, with Steven Saunders' own goal and a stunning individual effort by Vladimir Weiss coming in between for the leaders.
Celtic needed goals in second-half injury time by South Korea internationals Cha Du-ri and Ki Sung-yeung to nick a 2-0 victory over St. Johnstone.
Aberdeen provisionally climbed off the bottom of the table with a 2-1 win at Hibernian but has played two games more than last-place Hamilton.
