Santos Laguna failed in their bid to move up to second in Mexico's Apertura, slipping to a 2-0 defeat at home to Morelia.
Yasser Corona opened the scoring for the visitors just before the hour mark, before substitute Rafael Marquez Lugo made the points safe a minute from time.
Morelia's fourth away success of the season moves them four places up the table to eighth - two places and one point behind Santos.
