San Luis remained top of the Mexican Clausura despite not playing as none of the sides in action Saturday managed to join them on six points after two games.

Cruz Azul, Pachuca, Santos Laguna, Tigres Monterrey and Tijuana all moved to four points, while Toluca and Club America - who both won their opening fixtures - have still to play their second.

Cruz Azul were 2-0 winners at Atlas, with Emanuel Villa's first-half opener and Christian Gimenez's 80th-minute penalty enough to secure the points.

Pachuca also won, 3-1 at home to Puebla.

Jaime Ayovi (30) and substitute Marco Bueno (76, 90) were on target, while Luis Landin scored for the visitors.

Juninho's 40th-minute strike was enough to hand Tigres Monterrey three points against visiting Queretaro, while Tijuana also took a 1-0 win over Monterrey thanks to Javier Gandolfi's last-gasp effort.

Santos Laguna were 2-1 victors at Atlante, with goals from Christian Suarez (13) and Oribe Peralta (56) either side of Andres Mendoza's equaliser.

Jaguares triumphed 3-1 over Guadalajara, who lost Jorge Enriquez and Hector Reynoso to red cards in the last seven minutes.

Jaguares also had a man sent off, with Miguel Martinez dismissed in the 79th minute.

Yasser Corona (25), Jorge Rodriguez (63) and Jackson Martinez (72) also scored for the victors, while Reynoso's 53rd-minute goal briefly levelled matters.
