Former Turkey international Basturk, 31, has found himself out of favour at Stuttgart and Rovers are ready to offer him a move to England. Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce is keen to bolster his squad and he sees Basturk's creativity as a key addition to his side as they have struggled for goals this season. Basturk's representatives are understood to have flown into England to discuss a deal and they hope to agree a short-term deal with Rovers. Basturk has a good pedigree having helped former club Bayer Leverkusen reach the Champions League final in 2002. He was also a key member of the Turkey side that finished third at the 2002 World Cup in Japan / Korea.
