Rovers eye Honda swoop

A host of clubs have been linked with the CSKA Moscow midfielder, with clubs in England, Italy, Spain and France all said to be keen. But Rovers are now ready to try and make a move for the 25-year-old and are prepared to bid £12million for his signature. Honda has been linked with a move away from Russia all summer and although he insists he is happy in Moscow, a move to one of Europe's top leagues is sure to appeal to the former VVV Venlo ace. Arsenal could also enter the race for his signature with Arsene Wenger believed to be an admirer.
