Kean is friends with United boss Sir Alex Ferguson and has already spoken with the Red Devils manager about possible deals. Rovers had United's 23-year-old striker Mame Biram Diouf on loan last season and Kean is now hoping for another raid. The Rovers manager is refusing to outline who he wants, stating only he is hoping Ferguson will help out as and when the situation dictates. "I had a chat with Sir Alex after Paul Scholes' testimonial about a couple of players and that is ongoing," said Kean. "I don't want to name names because I want to be respectful of Manchester United and Sir Alex. "We have a good relationship and hopefully we can keep going so that, if we do want a player on loan, he will be sympathetic. "I don't know how much money is actually available because we're trying to structure our debt."
