Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo will continue treating his injured right ankle for two more weeks, after consulting with his former specialist on Thursday.
Ronaldo, sidelined for nearly a month, met with Professor Niek van Dijk, the Netherlands specialist who treated the same ankle last year.
Van Dijk confirmed medical scans this week that showed no improvement in the ankle, and told Ronaldo he can't resume training yet but must continue treatment until more exams in two weeks.
Ronaldo injured the ankle in a Champions League match and aggravated it in a World Cup qualifier for Portugal on Oct. 10.
