Real Madrid have a slight injury doubt over Cristiano Ronaldo ahead of this weekend's Primera Division clash with Sporting Gijon.
A statement on Madrid's official website confirmed the forward had suffered a sprain and contusion to his left ankle and sat out Tuesday's training session.
Ronaldo picked up the injury in a challenge with Luis Perea
during Saturday's 4-1 win over Atletico Madrid. The Portuguese
scored two penalties in the victory and was able to complete the
full 90 minutes.
