Netherlands winger Arjen Robben says Bayern Munich still needs new players to achieve its aims.
Robben joined Bayern from Real Madrid last year. He helped it to win the Bundesliga and German Cup double and reach the Champions League final.
But Robben was quoted on Wednesday as telling Sport Bild magazine: "We still need reinforcements for next season."
He added that "it is important for Bayern to raise the quality in the squad with new players but also increase competition inside the team - we have great aims for next season."
Robben said that, if Bayern also had bought Netherlands teammate Wesley Sneijder from Madrid, it might have won the Champions League last season.
Louis Van Gaal's Bayern side lost the final to Inter Milan, Sneijder's new club.
