Riquelme to miss 2 matches with abdominal injury

Juan Roman Riquelme has picked up another injury and is likely to miss the next two matches for Boca Juniors.

The Boca midfielder missed practice on Tuesday with an abdominal muscle pull, which the club said would keep him out for two matches. This means he will miss Sunday's game against Huracan and the next match against Argentinos Juniors.

The 32-year-old former Barcelona star had surgery a year ago on his left knee and has had various injuries since then, which have kept him from playing regularly for Boca Juniors. Boca has only 11 points this season and is lodged near the bottom of the standings, far behind league-leader River Plate with 19.
