Reputations mean nothing to Pulis

Tuncay was clearly unhappy at being replaced by Ricardo Fuller eight minutes into the second half, and the Turkey striker is reported to have driven away from the Britannia Stadium before the final whistle of the 0-0 draw with the Villans. The former Middlesbrough striker also threw a strop when he was subbed at Hull last November, although on that occasion, he had been on the field only six minutes after starting on the bench himself. Pulis understands his summer signing's frustration, but will no doubt be keen to ensure there is no repeat of his petulance. The manager said: "I don't have to justify my substitutions to Tuncay, or anybody else, in any shape or form. Reputations make no difference to me. I do it because I feel it's right for the team, it's nothing personal. "He has been a smashing pro since he came here, but he doesn't like being brought off, which is fine. "The crowd had their say, but they pay their money and that's also fine by me. But as a manager you have to make difficult decisions."
