Reports: Becks to unveil MLS team?

David Beckham might be returning to Major League Soccer, according to published reports.
The former LA Galaxy midfielder is apparently close to unveiling plans for a new MLS franchise based out of Miami, Florida, according to NBC Sports.
The report noted that Beckham has already dropped some hints about it to the media.
“It will be in a few months maybe but it’s important to get it right,” Beckham told The Sun. “This is a big decision where I’ll have my franchise and how I’m going to do it. It’s something I’m excited about.”
The looming plans have been the talk of town, as Becks has reportedly been seen touring potential venues and meeting with wealthy investors in Miami, according to NBCsports.com.
Meanwhile, MLS executives aren’t discussing many details of a possible Southeast expansion.
The report comes after Major League Soccer announced the addition of a 20th club, New York City FC, which is set to officially debut in 2015. It’ll be the league’s second Big Apple team next to the Red Bulls.
