Mark van Bommel's agent has reportedly said that the Netherlands midfielder will stay at Bayern Munich at least until the end of the season.
The 33-year-old Bayern captain's contract expires then, but there has been speculation recently that he might leave during the Bundesliga's winter break, possibly for Wolfsburg.
However, agent Mino Raiola was quoted in Thursday's edition of Germany's Bild daily as saying that "Mark will play for Bayern for the next five months."
Defending champion Bayern has had a disappointing first half of the season. It went into the winter break in fifth place, 14 points behind leader Borussia Dortmund.
