The son of Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has met with the head of a Danish pension fund, sparking rumors he may buy a stake in the company behind Danish club FC Copenhagen, a newspaper reported Thursday.

Arkady Abramovich ''chiefly'' talked about football during Saturday's lunch with Carsten Koch, chief executive of pension fund Loenmodtagernes Dyrtidsfond that owns 30 percent of shares in Parken Sport & Entertainment A/S.

''Right now, we are not really sales-oriented,'' Koch told newspaper Ekstra Bladet. However, ''should someone come with the right price, it could well be.''

Koch was not immediately available for comment. The pension fund has said in the past it was interested in getting rid of its stake in Parken.

The Danish club was founded in 1992 when KB and B1903 merged. It has won Denmark's top league seven times, and currently leads it with 48 points. Copenhagen was runner-up in 2005, 2002 and 1994
