Reds and Cottagers learn Euro fate

Liverpool and Fulham will play Benfica and Wolfsburg respectively in the Europa League quarter-finals following Friday's draw.
The semi-final draw in Nyon also kept both English clubs apart. Roy Hodgson's Fulham side overcame Juventus to reach the last eight.
The west London outfit recovered from losing the first leg 3-1 despite conceding an early goal in the second leg at Craven Cottage on Thursday, eventually securing a memorable 5-4 aggregate win over the Italian giants.
On Friday they were drawn to face German Bundesliga champions Wolfsburg in the last eight, with the first leg at home and a potential semi-final against either Hamburg or Standard Liege to follow.
In the other quarter-finals, Liverpool take on Portuguese side Benfica with the second leg at Anfield.
The winner of that tie will face the winner of the all-Spanish tie between Valencia - Reds boss Rafael Benitez's former club - and Atletico Madrid. Liverpool lost the first leg 1-0 to Lille in the previous round but goals from Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres (two) at Anfield on Thursday night kept their hopes of silverware this season alive.
Quarter-final draw: Fulham v Wolfsburg; Hamburg v Standard Liege; Valencia v Atletico Madrid; Benfica v Liverpool.
Semi-final draw: Hamburg/Standard Liege v Fulham/Wolfsburg; Valencia/Atletico Madrid v Benfica/Liverpool.
The two-legged quarter-finals take place on April 1 and 8, with the semi-finals on April 22 and 29. The final will be played at the HSH Nordbank Arena in Hamburg on Wednesday, May 12.
