Reading secured its first Premier League win of the season by beating Everton 2-1 at the Madejski Stadium on Saturday.
Midfielder Steven Naismith opened the scoring for the visitors in the 10th minute when he turned in Marouane Fellaini's ball from close range.
Promoted Reading, which is now unbeaten in four league games, equalized through striker Adam Le Fondre, who headed in a pass from Nicky Shorey in the 51st. The striker then won and converted a penalty in the 79th after a foul by Seamus Coleman.
The victory moves Reading up to 17th place with nine points and out of the relegation zone on goal difference while Everton drops to fifth on 20 points.
