Raul committed to Schalke

Spanish striker Raul intends to see out his contract at Schalke, despite their disappointing season.
The Bundesliga side have failed to emulate their heroics from last term this campaign, with a disappointing run of results leaving them 10th in the table and looking increasingly unlikely to secure a European spot for a second successive year.
But former Real Madrid legend Raul has pledged his commitment to the German club until his contract expires in June 2012.
"My contract runs until 2012," he told Kicker magazine. "I want to fulfil this and continue to have fun."
Since arriving last summer, Raul has scored 11 goals in 25 games for Schalke, who finished narrowly second to champions Bayern Munich last season.
The 33-year-old says the club are rebuilding this term in preparation for a major push for Bundesliga success next year.
He added: "We are a team that is currently in the process of being built, with quite a few players who have just arrived and a lot of young players."
Raul helped Schalke secure a spot in the final of the German Cup last week, and the veteran has his sights firmly set on lifting the trophy.
"I lost in two finals with Real Madrid. That wasn't supposed to happen," he said.
"So I know what I'm talking about when I say: 'Finals have to be won'.
"To win a trophy in my first season. It's a wonderful ideal."
