Scottish Football League clubs have voted to allow the Rangers newco into the Irn-Bru Third Division.
Here, we look at the clubs they are set to play.
ANNAN ATHLETIC
The Dumfries and Galloway side were the most recent additions to the SFL before the reborn Rangers, admitted in 2008 following the demise of Gretna. They had won the SFA Challenge Cup South and South of Scotland League Cup that year.
Ground - Galabank
Capacity - 2,007 (500 seated)
Last season's average attendance - 473.
BERWICK RANGERS
The English club - nicknamed the Wee Rangers - inflicted their namesake's biggest shock with a 1-0 Scottish Cup victory in 1967, months before the Ibrox club reached the European Cup Winners' Cup final. A record 13,283 fans packed into Shielfield Park that day but there will be far less for the next visit.

Capacity - 4,131 (1,224 seated)

CLYDE
The three-times Scottish Cup winners have also fallen down the leagues after financial troubles but they shocked Celtic at Broadwood as recently as 2006, knocking Gordon Strachan's side out of the Scottish Cup on Roy Keane's debut.

EAST STIRLINGSHIRE
Now sharing Stenhousemuir's ground, which has an artificial surface, after their Firs Park ground was sold to housing developers. Fans-run Shire's last trophy was the Second Division in 1932.

Capacity - 3,746
Last season's average attendance - 321
ELGIN CITY
Joined the SFL in 2000 from the Highland League but had twice lost 6-1 to Rangers at Ibrox in Scottish Cup ties in the immediate post-war period.
Ground - Borough Briggs
Capacity - 3,927
Last season's average attendance - 473.
MONTROSE
The Gable Endies last played Rangers in 1976, losing seven goals without reply over two League Cup games.

Capacity - 3,292 (1,338 seated)
Last season's average attendance - 335.
PETERHEAD
Balmoor is set to be the venue of the reborn Rangers' first game in the Third Division as play-off runners-up Stranraer were due to kick off their season there. The five-times Highland League winners were admitted to the SFL in 2000 and lost 5-0 at Ibrox in the 2006 Scottish Cup.

QUEEN'S PARK
Queen's Park will still have the biggest stadium in the Third Division even if the new Rangers join its ranks. Ten-times Scottish Cup winners by 1893 but refused to turn professional and remain amateur to this day. Their record club attendance is 95,722 when Rangers visited Hampden on Scottish Cup duty in 1930.

STIRLING ALBION
Rangers fans who watched a youth team play a friendly against Stirling in 2011 could not have imagined they might return for a league game two years later.
