Ramos refutes Betis rumors

Former Real Madrid and Sevilla coach Juande Ramos insists he has
heard nothing from Real Betis about the possibility of becoming
their boss.
Speculation had been rife in Spain over the last few days
that Betis were looking to bring in Ramos after a disappointing run
of recent form.
In their last five Segunda Division games, Betis have picked
up just four points, leaving them seventh in the standings and five
points off the promotion places.
However, Ramos, who coached Betis for a season in 2001/02,
has denied there is any offer on the table from the Seville-based
club.
"At no point has anybody from Real Betis been in contact with
me or my representative Gines Carvajal to convey to us a job
offer," Ramos said on his personal website.
Ramos, who famously led Betis' local rivals Sevilla to five
trophies in two seasons from 2005-07, left Russian side CSKA Moscow
by mutual consent in October.
