Marcus Berg scored twice for the hosts, either side of a Erik Falkenburg equaliser, with substitute Ibrahim Afellay adding a late third for PSV. Fred Rutten's men now hold a two-point lead over Ajax, who overcame Roda JC 3-0 yesterday, and are three points in front of a trio of clubs headed by FC Utrecht - 3-0 winners against Willem II this afternoon. The outcome could have been very different however if Andreas Lasnik had not missed a 20th-minute penalty for Willem II, with Utrecht rubbing salt in the wound by converting a spot-kick of their own two minutes later through Ricky van Wolfswinkel. The game was over as a contest by the 33rd minute as Dries Mertens and a Van Wolfswinkel header killed off the Tilburg club, who have lost all three of their league matches so far. Both teams ended with 10 men, Utrecht's Alje Schut and Willem II's Frank Demouge both seeing red. Heracles had to settle for a point against Feyenoord after a 1-1 draw. Mark Looms scored for the home side after 14 minutes, but Georgino Wijnaldum equalised 20 minutes from time to leave both sides on four points after three games. Torrential rain held up proceedings for 20 minutes at VVV-Venlo's De Koel stadium, but it could not stop ADO Den Haag registering their first win of the season. ADO were 2-1 up, courtesy of two goals from Dmitri Bulykin on his debut sandwiching Achmed Ahahaoui's reply, when referee Bas Nijhuis took the players off the pitch in the 67th minute because of thunder storms. When play did finally resume, the fans were rewarded with a grandstand finish as Wesley Verhoek extended ADO's advantage in the 89th minute and Ruud Boymans offered an immediate, but ultimately futile, response.
