Bryan Ruiz's first-half goal put Twente in front but NAC keeper Jelle ten Rouwelaar made a couple of fine saves to keep his side in the game. And he got his rewards as Ali Boussaboun equalised with nine minutes remaining and Theo Leugers' error allowed Matthew Amoah to grab a last-minute winner. In Saturday's other game, PSV Eindhoven overcame a spirited display from Excelsior to come out on top in a six-goal spectacle and move top of the table. Jeremain Lens, Wilfred Bouma, Ola Toivonen and Marcelo were on the scoresheet for the home side, who also hit the woodwork twice in the second half. Excelsior, though, belied their lowly position in the Eredivisie table to find the target through Daan Bovenberg and Guyon Fernandez and produce a performance they can be proud of against the Dutch giants.
