PSG president claims Blanc has his full support following sack rumors

Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi claims manager Laurent Blanc has his 'full support' amid reports he could soon be axed.
It has been a tough week for the man charged with the task of generating positive results at Parc des Princes.
A quarter-final exit at the hands of Chelsea in the UEFA Champions League was followed on Sunday by a 1-0 defeat away at Lyon in Ligue 1.
PSG remain 10 points clear in their domestic title race and are widely tipped to kick-on in Europe over the next few years, but Blanc has seen his position at the helm questioned.
Al-Khelaifi claims to have been left shocked when informed of such reports, with there no intention on his part to take the club in a different direction.
He told Le Parisien: "I am extremely surprised to read the various comments on our coach Laurent Blanc.
"It's very simple, he is our coach now and I insisted that I want it that way.
"I was very clear on that before the return match of the Champions League against Chelsea, and my opinion has not changed after the game.
"Laurent Blanc has my full support and nothing that happens on the pitch can change that."
While it is Blanc who has been targeted on the back of a wobble at home and abroad, Italian midfielder Marco Verratti claims the PSG players have to shoulder much of the responsibility for the dip in form.
He told L'Equipe: "Questions about the role of the coach are logical after those defeats.
"When you lose the coach is always the first target. But everyone is guilty. We, the players, didn't play our best match possible at Chelsea."
