The prosecutor leading the latest inquiry into match-fixing in Italy believes there are ''big problems'' for Serie A.
Cremona prosecutor Roberto Di Martino has been coordinating questioning for several of the 16 people arrested across Italy last week.
Di Martino said last week that the inquiry is focused on 18 matches mostly in Serie B and C, but key suspects in the case have reportedly divulged information about top division games that were fixed.
According to the ANSA news agency, Di Martino says he has ''the feeling that there are big problems in Serie A, that there were matches fixed. ... It's a feeling, and a feeling without any checks is not proof. However, the feeling is that in Serie A the fixes were not between players, but between the clubs.''
